The engineering and construction sector is at the origin of the AFA Group that currently has three companies operating in this area: AFAVIAS (the group’s insignia for the construction business), CTM, and AFAVIAS Azores.

Together, these companies have already carried out more than 3000 construction works within different categories, including main roadways, geotechnical, hydraulic and maritime projects, buildings, sports facilities, pavements, and wastewater treatment plants.

AFAVIAS operates a branch in Angola, in addition to construction projects carried out in Mauritania and Senegal. Angola stands out as the main international market, accounting for more than half of the construction company’s turnover in some years.
