About the Role
Grupo AFA is hiring an Innovation & Process Optimization Lead to support business transformation, digital transformation, and process improvement initiatives across the Group. Reporting to the Executive Committee, this is a hands-on, individual contributor role with high visibility and cross-functional exposure.
What You’ll Do
- Support innovation, transformation, and process optimization initiatives
- Coordinate digital, automation, AI, and IT-enabled projects
- Work cross-functionally with business and IT teams
- Structure project scopes, roadmaps, KPIs, and risks
- Track progress and prepare executive dashboards and updates
- Ensure alignment with governance and internal controls
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, IT, or similar
- 2–4 years’ experience in innovation, transformation, project coordination, or process improvement
- Exposure to digital tools, automation, AI, or data-driven initiatives
- Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to influence without formal authority
- Fluent Portuguese (mandatory) and professional English
- On-site availability in Madeira, Portugal
