The Madalena do Mar Bypass runs along for 3.5 Km, comprising two tunnels 1910 and 1535 m long, a bridge with a roundabout between the tunnels over the stream of Madalena do Mar and the reworking of the initial and final roundabouts. The 2nd stage of this works covers all the specialist areas not included in Stage 1: earthworks; drainage, paving, landscaping, parallel paths, supporting walls, water tanks and respective piping, fire-fighting system, electrical infrastructures for road and tunnel, signposting and safety equipment, special engineering structures; and tunnel equipment.
