Works part of the project to extend the Hydroelectric Development of Calheta with four distinct design interventions: Calheta III Hydroelectric Plant with production capacity of 30 MW; Calheta Pumping Station; forced conduit/pump from the Pico da Urze dam to the new Hydroelectric Plant, with a length of 3 km and 700 m level difference; Paul Pumping Station.
