It is part of the Road Upkeep and Maintenance programme and consists of the cleaning of hard shoulders and hydraulic crossings, the repair of deteriorated areas of the bituminous layer and safety rails and the placement/maintenance of horizontal and vertical signposting. These works, which are 15km long, comprise a stretch of highway EN280 which connects the city of Namibe to Lubango.
