Contract to prevent and mitigate the risk of rockfall on the cliffs overhanging the João Abel de Freitas tunnel and on the ER 118 regional highway – motorway interchange section

The project consisted of the construction of a structure to protect against rockfalls on the ER118. The protection took the form of a reinforced concrete structure, consisting of a system of arched roofs whose beams are supported on a concrete wall set against the slope, anchored by nailing on the slope.
