The construction of the new Francisco Lacerda Museum required the adaptation of the former Marie D’Anjou factory. The project consisted of the creation of three hubs: one for administration and technical offices; one for long-term exhibitions; and a third hub incorporating the main visitor reception and hosting areas, a temporary exhibition hall, an auditorium, a library and a restricted-access area for the museum’s reserved collections.
