Containment and stabilisation of the progression of soil ravines. The works included the construction of peripheral drainage canals in the area at the head of the ravine and discharge into the watercourse (with the respective treatment) in order to prevent the progression of the erosion; dredging of the Caminina river and construction of a number of dikes to reduce the water flow; dredging and protection of the water catchment area.
